Yes. Caribbean Takeaway Ltd is registered with the Food Standards Agency. You can view our food hygiene rating directly on the FSA website at food.gov.uk/ratings.

You’ll find full ingredient details on our website, and allergens are highlighted in bold. The same information is also shown on the packaging when your order arrives. If you have a specific dietary concern, please get in touch before ordering.

All meals are sealed for convenience and freshness. The lid is designed to vent automatically during heating, so no piercing is required.
How do I heat up my meals?
It's simple, freeze it, heat it, eat it. Meals go from freezer to fork in as little as up to 10 minutes.Remove outer packaging and place directly in the microwave. No need to pierce lid.Full heating instructions are included with your order.
Can I heat my Meal in the Oven?
Due to the materials used, it is not advisable to heat in an oven. Remove outer packaging and place directly in the microwave. No need to pierce lid.Full heating instructions are included with your order.
Can you heat the meal in an oven or air fryer?
We do not advise to heat in an air fryer due to the materials used which could damage the tray and your food.
Should I pierce the lid like normal
Our specially designed lids make preparation quick and effortless, there’s no need to pierce or remove the lid before heating.
Simply take your meal straight from the freezer, remove the outer cardboard sleeve, place it in the microwave, and heat as instructed. As it warms, enjoy the rich aroma of authentic Caribbean flavours filling your kitchen, then sit back, eat, and enjoy.
How long can I keep the meals in the freezer?
Please keep each meal frozen until you’re ready to use it and follow the use-by date and storage instructions on the pack. That way, every plate stays fresh, tasty, and freezer-ready.
How should I store my meals when they arrive?
Pop them straight in the freezer as soon as they arrive, and keep them frozen until you’re ready to heat. That’s the best way to lock in all that rich, homemade Caribbean flavour.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout the UK, so wherever you are, you can enjoy authentic Caribbean food at home.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free when you spend over £55. If your basket is under £55, you’ll see the delivery charge at checkout based on your location.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Orders are dispatched via next day delivery if made before 11:00. If after this time, you will receive your meal within 48 hours. All orders are tracked right to your door.
Will my meals arrive frozen and freezer-ready?
Yes, your meals are packed in premium insulated packaging with 100% natural fibre insulation, so they arrive frozen and ready to pop straight into your freezer.
What kind of food do you sell?
We sell authentic, homemade Caribbean meals covering a wide range, from meat dishes like oxtail and jerk chicken to curry meals, fish, vegetarian options, soups, rice and side dishes (Rice 'n' Nice), cakes, ice cream, porridge, and homemade juices and hot sauces. Baring the cakes and sauces, everything is freshly cooked and frozen to lock in flavours.
Do your meals contain preservatives or additives?
No, absolutely none. Our meals are made with no preservatives and no additives. Just genuine homemade Caribbean cooking, frozen fresh to keep all the natural flavour intact.
Where does your meat come from?
Our meat is locally sourced from farmers we know and trust. We take quality seriously, from the farm to your freezer.
I've never tried Caribbean food before — where should I start?

What is the minimum order amount?
Our minimum order is £25. Orders over £55 qualify for free delivery.
How do I place an order?
Simply browse the menu on our website, add items to your basket, and checkout online. It's quick and easy, once your order is placed, we'll pack it up and send it straight to your door.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to help before your order is dispatched.
